Narosia Channeler Class for D&D

While we finish the layout on our core book, the Legendsmiths team is working on the conversion of Narosia for D&D 5th Edition. In anticipation of that product we are happy to share the playtest-ready Channeler class that replaces the core Cleric/Druid classes.

The cosmology of Narosia is a bit different than the default assumption in D&D. “Clerics” build a relationship with all of the gods, though they may be favored by one or more of them, possibly rising to hierophant or even exalted status in a single god’s eyes. This relationship between the cleric and the gods really required some subtle changes to the way clerics work in Narosia.
We think the system of revelations and favored spells helps to reinforce this relationship while not deviating too far from the core mechanics of how D&D clerics work. Currently we are only including the most popular gods for Aetaltis (
Lensae,
Aelos,
Alantra,
Droth,
Modren), the kingdom we are using as the starting point for the initial campaign. As part of future products we will expand into the other gods, especially the two that provide the classic druidic elements (
Vale and
Grethken).
We hope you enjoy this preview of what’s to come.
