This year’s U-Con is the first since the pandemic where we’ve had guests. We have a fantastic slate of guests, and a new social event to meet them that I am looking forward to: U-Con Game Talk show on Friday from 5-7pm. This is in the auditorium with ample seating and is timed so you can enjoy dinner and a show. Longtime friend-of-the-con Lenny Balsera will be the host of the show.

You town leaders come together after the Merchant discovers the Mayor’s still warm body in the woods on the Winter Solstice after a 3-day blizzard. No one has been in or out of town. Who done it?
Atomic Sky
More work has continued here. Playtesting has gone well. This year we have a format where we’re running 2 intro games and one intermediate adventure.
The idea is you can bring your character from last year, or from one of this year’s intro sessions, to the intermediate adventure.

Mutants & Mayhem – Into The Wastes Under An Atomic Sky. Runs Friday 9am, and Saturday 9am for 4 hours. There will be a 1 hour lunch break between this event and Après Ski on Saturday.
Make your own mutant or robot in the first hour and then adventure under an Atomic Sky for the remaining time. Relics & Raiders. Cults & Critters. Beasts & Bots. Secrets of the Glow…
If you bring your character from last year, you get +10 XP and 1d6 Finds.

You veterans of the wastes discovered a rare site: a fully active ski resort! What treasures of the ancients can be found? Where do these skiers hail from?
Bring a character or pregens provided. If you bring a previous character, you will receive a 50 XP bump, 2 Legendary Finds, 4 Very Rare Finds, and 8 Rare Finds, and 16 Common Finds.
Otherwise, Pregens of 250 points will be provided.
The adventure is a puzzle that can be solved with combat, social engineering, or mix of the two. Here’s the brochure for the Resort:
